I attended West Seneca Christan School for 12 years of my
life. I graduated from there this past June along with my 22 classmates. Yes, West Seneca Christian, or WSCS as we call it,
is very small, but that was what I loved about it. Everyone knew each other; every face was familiar. That's why I chose
Daemen College because it is also relatively small.
I am a first-year freshman at Daemen College. My major is
English Adolescent Education. I want to be a highschool English teacher. This semester I am taking 15 credits. My five classes
are CMP 101, REL 109, IND 101, LIT 112, and ART101.
I don't really know anyone yet; I haven't
really made any close friends. I do have some acquaintences. The reason for that is because I am a commuter. I
come for my classes and leave because I have other things to do such as work.
I work at Tops Pharmacy. I am
the Pharmacy Tech; basically, I just fill scripts and count pills. I like it though. The funny thing about it is that people
(customers) assume that I know so much about diseases and the scripts themselves, but I don't..that is the pharmacist's job...So
i get all kinds of interesting questions and information. I'm like "Woah! Too much information there....let me get the
pharmacist for you.."
My favorite thing to do is to hang out with
my family and closest friends. I have a few really close friends from highschool that I see all the time.
And, spending time with my family is the best. My family is very close. In fact, my "big" sister is my closest
friend. When we were little people always thought that we were twins. We are so much alike.
One really special thing about my family is our love for music.
My whole family even my grandparents, aunts and uncles love music. We all are muscially inclined; we just love to play
it, hear it, and/or watch it. Going to concerts is one of our favorite things to do. We also buy tons of cds and
swap them so we can all listen.
